March 2024 - Hockey Finals

Roxeth qualified for the borough Hockey Finals back in the Autumn Term, so on Thursday 7th March we competed against the top 6 schools in the borough. We were placed in a group with Marlborough and St Joseph’s, unfortunately losing against both schools 2-1 and 1-0, in two very closely fought matches. It meant that we were placed against Longfield in the final match, which Roxeth managed to win 3-1 with great finishes from William, Lysander and Jian after initially going a goal down. This meant that Roxeth have now finished fifth in the whole borough for Hockey, which the team should be incredibly proud of. Well done to Sara, Sofia, Sana, Lysander, Jian and William
