February 2024 - Sportshall Athletics

On 6th February, Year 5 & 6 Roxeth athletes took part in a borough Sportshall Athletics competition at Whitmore High School. Each athlete was able to represent the school in two different events, including sprints, jumping events, throwing events and speed bounce. It was a great opportunity for our children to try new events and experience a competitive situation against eight other schools. Notable mentions should go to Ethan, Iqra and Phoebe who all won their Sprint Final and Tamryn who finished third out of all of the Chest Push throws. Well done to Sara, Phoebe, Iqra, Raphael, Lysander, Ethan, Marvin, Tamryn, Ano, Lena, Haneen and Aryan.
